KL has no shortage of places to enjoy late supper, but most of them are mamak stalls and restaurants.

For a different experience 🥢, head to Fatty Bak Kut Teh & Fish Head restaurant at Old Klang road. This place is open until 4am in the morning and they serve some of the best steamed Song fish (carp) heads in Kuala Lumpur 👌

For first timers, we highly recommend trying their signature Heavenly Ginger Steamed Fish Head 👍 The sauce used is a mixture of premium soy sauce, fish sauce and essence of chicken which gives it a unique flavor. It’s so good and nutritious that customers usually drink it like a soup 🤤

If you are looking for something savory and spicy, you won’t go wrong with their Spicy Sauce or Fermented Black Beans flavor – very appetizing to be enjoyed with rice.

Besides steamed fish head, bak kut teh, yellow wine chicken with ginger and a couple of common Chinese dishes 🍲 are also available.


半夜想吃好料的朋友们你们就一定要知道位于旧巴生路的”肥佬肉骨茶/蒸鱼” ♨️🐟. 这家餐馆每天从傍晚六点营业至凌晨四点,是享用晚餐及夜宵的好去处 👍

这里的必点招牌菜是姜蓉蒸松鱼头. 铺满姜蓉的鲜美鱼头蒸熟了以后淋上经过鱼露和鸡精调味的上等豉油(很多客人当汤直接喝), 完完全全地带出鱼肉本身的鲜味和原味 👌

蒸鱼头的另外三种口味有 “清蒸”, “豆豉蒸” 和 “酱蒸”. 后两个适合喜欢吃带辣的人,并且非常下饭 🤤🍚

“肥佬”的肉骨茶不错,汤头是采用大量优质的药材熬制出来. 虽然没像巴生的那么浓郁和重口味,但味道绝对够足而且肉质软嫩 – 在吉隆坡众算是中上了. 除了蒸鱼和肉骨茶,”肥佬”也有供应猪脚醋,卤猪脚,黄酒鸡,葱油豆腐几等等菜色 🍲
