If you are planning to go to Klang for a makan trip, you should add “tong yuen” / glutinous rice balls into your list. Klang is also known for their tong yuen & the one we are recommending is the one at Restaurant Pin Chou.
All tong yuen are made on the spot and serve warm. There are 2 types of tong yuen; with fillings (black sesame / peanut) or without fillings. You can also mix them together as well. It comes served in ginger & gula melaka soup.
Besides tong yuen, they also have muar chee with peanuts & topped with coconut shreds.
