The first authentic Hong Kong ‘char chan teng’ in Malaysia to open in Sunway Pyramid on Friday, 13th Oct! Honolulu Cafe was established in 1940 and is widely recognised as a pioneer of the ‘char chan teng’ culture in Hong Kong. For more than 70 years, people in Hong Kong have been flocking to Honolulu Cafe for its authentic local dishes. A favourite of celebrities and well-known personalities, this iconic restaurant has been featured in movies and TV shows. Honolulu Cafe has received many accolades and awards for its cuisine. Its baked egg tart, intricately hand-made with 192 layers, is considered by many to be in a class of its own. Flaky and delicious, it is a must-try!
